Volunteering / Internships

Austcare is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection from abuse and exploitation. Applicants may be required to undergo police and background checks in accordance with this Policy.

Volunteers form a valuable part of the Austcare team. Volunteering is a great way to contribute to our work and develop your skills and expertise. We value diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds and age groups.

All our volunteer positions are based at our Headquarters in Sydney. Ideally we require volunteers for one to two days per week (during standard working hours) for three months or more.

Austcare offers overseas volunteering opportunities by partnering with Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development (AYAD), Volunteers for International Development (VIDA) and Australian Volunteers International (AVI).
