Austcare is committed to building collaborative partnerships with our corporate supporters in Australia, in the same way that we work in partnership with local communities, host governments and other agencies in delivering our international programs. We offer you and your staff many ways to become involved with our work.

What You Can Do

Workplace Giving

Workplace Giving is a powerful way of involving employees in supporting Austcare. Regular donations give Austcare the security to make long-term commitments to our global programs, and reduce our administration costs so more money goes to families in need. Your pre-tax payroll gifts are guaranteed income, ensuring the long-term viability of our outcomes and allowing us to budget for a secure future for refugees, landmine survivors, and others in need.

By getting your staff involved in Workplace Giving you can help build a sense of team. You can also encourage your staff by matching the amount they donate.  Workplace Giving can increase staff motivation, retention and loyalty, and and assist in your plans to be an employer of choice.

Cause Related Marketing

Cause related marketing offers you potentially new and rewarding marketing opportunities and enables you to link your product or brand with with a cause, and in doing so, generate revvenue for your chosen charity.

A cause related marketing strategy means you dedicate an amount or percentage of income generated from sales of one of your products over a specific period. Corporate Giving for Appeals & Programs

Austcare has many programs for which we can accept tied donations, and many opportunities to work with you to build proposals that align with your funding and corporate responsibility priorities.

We will work with you to report back to your staff and management team about how your funds are making a sustainable difference to communities in need.

Corporate Membership

By becoming a Corporate Member of Austcare, you can have a say in shaping Austcare's future. As well as receiving newsletters and invitations to special events, members have the opportunity to vote for Directors, and be nominated as a Director.

Corporate membership is just $550 per year (including GST). Your organisation will be acknowledged in the Austcare newsletter. Contact Us about becoming a Corporate Member.

Pro-bono work

Pro-bono work can be a powerful motivator for your workplace team while demonstrating your commitment to corporate social responsibility in a tangible and relevant way. Such support is invaluable to the ongoing administration and running of charitable organisations and can be just as effective as any cash gift.  We rely heavily on volunteer support and will work with you to identify opportunities for your staff to donate their skills and time.

Austcare needs private sector professional expertise to support our operations both in Australia and overseas. You can help Austcare to stay at the forefront of best practice and support us to be an employer of choice. You will also be helping us to reduce our administrative overheads and to maximise the proportion of Australian donors' support that goes to our work in the field.

Events

Throughout the year, Austcare is involved in many events, often surrounding dates such as Landmine Action Week (April), World Refugee Day (20 June) and Anti-Poverty Week (October). 

You can help to raise the Australian community's awareness of global situations by sponsoring relevant Austcare events, or partnering with us to provide access to your networks, publications and website for event promotion.
