Workplace Giving

Workplace Giving is an easy, convenient way to help Austcare protect and support refugees, displaced people, and those affected by landmines and extreme poverty.

How it works

It’s easy – just enter a Workplace Giving arrangement and nominate Austcare as the recipient. The donation amount, nominated by the employee, will be deducted each payday, (i.e. fortnightly or monthly). The amount deducted can be changed at any time by making a request to the employer. The total donation amount for all employees involved for each pay period is then paid directly by the employers to Austcare.

Workplace Giving benefits your business

By getting your staff involved in Payroll Giving you can help to develop a sense of community at work. It is an easy, low-cost way to improve morale and can make your business more attractive to new employees. By matching your employees’ donations, you can improve your corporate profile.

Workplace Giving benefits your employees

Workplace Giving is a powerful way of involving your staff in supporting Austcare. Most people find that giving through the payroll system is one of the most convenient ways to donate to their charity of choice. Donations are deducted from pay ‘pre-tax’. This means employees don’t need to collect receipts to make a tax claim at the end of the year.

Most importantly, Workplace Giving benefits the recipients of Austcare’s programs

Workplace Giving helps us by providing a guaranteed source of income, which allow us to budget for long-term programs and helps to build a secure future for vulnerable people around the world.
